Industrial Drama Theater (Teatr Truda) is located in the very heart of Moscow, the Capital of Russia.
Teatr Truda is not only a theater venue but the place where the art teams collaborate to research the labor and work sphere. We do master classes, movie screenings, presentations about different industries and jobs.

Our plays
The Big Ore
The action of the play occurs in 1950-s at a mine. There are removing the top layers and waiting finally to open the ore-bearing layer - the "big ore".
The story of the hero of the play is a story about finding happiness. Each of us have our own big ore - our goal or a dream for which to fight and not to spare ourselves.
The team began to work on the project on pure enthusiasm. In our hands was only a text. In may 2015 we started fundrising. Since then there have been more than 10 shows at different venues in Moscow. Starting Feb 2017 the play is performed in Industrial Drama Theater.

The Steelmakers
The Steelmakers play was written by Gennady Bokarev in 1972 and was staged in many theatres in the USSR. The action takes place on the backdrop of the steel foundry, open-hearth furnaces and molten steel. The drama is about professional dedication, ability to be a part of the team and personal aspirations.
Our performance is a new reading of the Steelmakers in the language of modern theatre in colaborarion with the famous electronic musician and video artist.
Director and all the actors are from Brusnikin's – the most popular theater team in Russia, winners of numerous theatre and film awards who work with the top playwrights and directors.

The Suitcase Blues
The play is based on bio of Sergey Dovlatov, popular Russian writer who emigrated to the US.
Within the play artists get the stories of Dovlatov's life out of the suitcase.
The scene design is made by the popular artist Sasha Ovchinnikova and the other celebrity – Pavel Maikov – is singing his songs within the performance.
